Ive got a line on buying a Westin Grill Guard, I was wondering if anyone knows whether one off a 2009 will fit a 1999 superduty?

The one for sale came off a 09 and mines a 99.

 

I'm pretty sure it won't fit as the front end design is totally different between 99 and 09.

 

Bumpers mount differently so prob will not bolt up to a 99 unless u want to start some major fabrication work

I'd wait out a guard off of a 99-03 so you know it fits. I see these all the time on craigslist for around the $200 mark, so his price isn't that great either.

 

I have a Westin on my '01, and the one you are linked is different, and won't mount up, as is. See how the mounting surface, where the two holes are on each side, is parallel with the direction of travel? On my '01, and your '99, I suspect, the mounting surface would need to be perpendicular, as the Westin guard bolts up where the bumper does. Now, you could probably weld up some tabs that would work, but it won't just be a bolt-on.
