Utility truck info
My 78-F150 Custom was originally a utility truck.
Were these trucks like this from the factory?
It has a 351/m a T/18 tranny and carrier bearing for the two driveshafts, The rear suspension and axle are bigger than My friend's 79 ranger.
A.. LOT bigger plus the exhuast which is stock is about 2.5 in in diameter.
Were normal production trucks of the year set up like this?
The guy who had it before me put a oak flat bed on the truck scraping the utility boxes.
Is there any websites or any info on these trucks that anybody knows about?
Mabye like a dealership advertisement from back then?
I just want to know exactly what my truck was intended for before I go all out, like I want to and make it into a tire burning, chebbie smoking, ricer eating, street monster.
Are my ambitions too high for this truck?
