So my first road trip in the Ex has an unfortunate stop...
I'm cruising along, minding my business, when all of the sudden mt truck wants to pull left.... And I smell burning.... I pull over, everything looks fine... I get back in and try to move it a few feet... Something is grabbing underneath. I think it's the caliper.... Not sure why it would do that outta no where.... Waiting on a tow truck now
Sounds like one brake applied itself for some reason, maybe a loose bolt somewhere.........very strange. I don't think it is the wheel bearing..........................dying to find out what though.
So after further investigation... it's definately the HUB. It was actually pretty bad according to the shop it's at. My guy got a replacement for 120$ (which isnt bad, seems like it would be a much more expensive part) and he's fixing it now....

The wheel hub (main bearings) or the locking hub? It doesn't sound like a wheel hub where the big roller bearings are.
So they changed my hub assembly and brake pads which were bad while they were in there..... My ABS light is on and won't go off. I've read to just drive it a few miles, but I just drove it 320 miles home. Anyone know how I can reset the light?

Remove the positive battery cable for about 5 minutes (if it is fixed.)

Did he install the hub with the speed sensor on it? Did he hook it up?
