80 fullsize bronco4" lift

does anyone have any idea what might need to be exteneded to install a 4" bodylift on an 80 fullsize bronco with 300 six, my general outlook on life, what i'm trying to ovoid, fuel lines- wiring- steering, any help would be much appreciated

80 fullsize bronco4" lift

..i believe you will have to modify the steering column, brake lines, and maybe clutch links....pretty much anything that is attached to both body and frame that doesn't have much slack. Also will have to heavily modify the mounts on your bumpers and also possibly the fuel tanks.....4" is getting up there on safety and reliability issues... could you go with a 2 or 3 inch suspension and a 2 or 3 inch body lift combination? sure would be safer if you were to get in a wreck or do much off-roading. But if that isn't an issue than you should probably weld a piece of channel to the frame under a 3" body lift to give it that extra inch. Would be much stronger.

Can I ask why you want to run a 4" body lift? I dont even think they make them that big. Also, body lifts are ugly (my opinion, of course), and they arent as safe as suspension lifts. Youre going to have to alter alot of stuff for that.
