What's my sticker mean?

First of all thanks for all the good ideas and reading I get from this forum!

I've tried twice to take pictures of my door opening sticker, but haven't had any luck getting one that was legible. I wrote down what I thought might be the important information, and will attempt to transcribe it here.

Manf Date- 8/82
GWRA- 5700 Lb
Type- 1C
Int. Paint- either 133 or 183
Type- H141
Body- CD4
Trans- A
Axle-14 BGK

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Man, please try and post a picture, complete with VIN number, OK? It's really lots easier for me. Please? Block out the last several numbers on the VIN if you like, this is just the numerical sequence of assembly and doesn't affect anything I need.

Some people are concerned about releasing "too much" information, removing the last numbers of the VIN obfuscates it enough to make it non-trackable if you like.

There might be a Macro setting on your camera you can use for taking close-up pictures.

GWRA does not exist. GAWR is Gross Axle Weight Rating, GVWR is Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.
Body CD4 - Cloth/vinyl bench seat, Red trim, Styleside PU.
Trans A - New Process 4 speed
Axle 14 - Ford 9"(3750 lb weight rating) with 3.00 gears.

According to my 82 Light Truck Shop Manual....

Sorry, I'll try again tomorrow. I'm really not too paranoid about "releasing" information. (It's a 30 year old truck, for goodness sakes!) Like I said I've tried to take a picture a couple times.

Skeeters were biting me when I was writing down the numbers. I'll try to figure out if it was GAWR or GVWR tommorrow. Thanks!

If that's a 4wd and you change gears or part it out, SAVE THE FRONT GEARS. Those are very hard to come by, as I've been looking for months.

It's a 4WD. Is a 3.00 axle with that tranny considered a road type gear, or a pulling type gear, or in between?

3.00:1 is a "tall" gear ratio that will be better for highway driving and MPGs. the numerically lower the ratio the better it will be for top speed. The numerically higher or "lower" ratio is better for towing/hauling and if you want to run large tires. the first number refers to the number of times the driveshaft spins and the 1 is the tires so in your case the driveshaft is turning 3 times for every rotation of the tires. Something like a 3.73:1 would be a good compromise ratio and 4.10:1 or 4.56:1 is great for pulling but will kill your top speed and economy.
