Well rear end locked up on this truck luckly it was going slow. Not sure what failed but seems to be pinion related. Was on my way to work. So unhooked the driveshaft from the t case and pulled the axles. 4wd is awesome. Really glad these axles are cheap in comparison. Now I've got one to make a disc break kit on for Mach Up.
Would love to do an aam swap from a Chevy but don't have the funds for that axle right now.
4:10 LS. The place I called to today and went to was a bunch of idiots. Website said they close at 6 and they told me it was 5 after I got there. Going to call a few places tomorrow and see what they have. Would really like to find a DRW axle just so the stance is slightly wider.

No just singles but would like the DRW option to have basically universal spare if I ever buy a dually truck. But will more then likely end up with a SRW as the duals are hard to find reasonable.

The DRW axles from cab and chassis trucks won't work under a regular pick up, the frames are different. What were you going to get a DRW axle from? Will the 2wd dually pick up axle work?
Thanks. I don't know yet. The ones I found around here are around 350. I'm gonna pull it apart tomorrow and check the carnage. If it didn't hurt any gears I'll pull it put new bearings and let it eat.
There was a 4.10, 1995 dually axle listed on south dakota craigslist a couple days ago. New brakes, drums. 250 bucks, cheap for sure. I almost bought it. Wheels available too. Don't know if its there yet, you could check. Quite a ways away from you though.
