Cool old tractor anyways, and pulling with a diesel is always so much nicer then with a gas.

Good to hear it meets your expectations. I like the sound of your exhaust, how was it to put on?

Six liter exhaust sound makes me horny!!! that is why I put duals on, so I could here it on my side also. Now put a custom tune in it and THEN pull that trailer! When i bought my fifth wheel last year in Kelowna I could hardly believe how easy it pulled a 10,000 lbs trailer up the kicking horse pass at golden, like is wasn't even there.

I want to get an exhaust to. I have the scangauge and now that seeding is done I will put on a coolant filter and bypass oil filter, also do the blue spring and high idle mod. I would also like to add a fuel pressure and EGT gauge.

Egts are a pretty important thing to watch if a guy does lots of towing.

Seems like thats a common mod on any diesel, is good gauges.

I was surprised how fast the egts went up on my 7.3 when I stepped on it and I had a 4" exhast on it. I could get it up to 1100 degrees pretty quick.

If your not running a tune (stock) no need for egt gauges
But if you are running a tune even a small one you need fuel Pressure and egt gauges
Dual gauges L/R are good for indentifying injector issues

I dont have gauges, but I am pretty sure once I put a heavy load on my truck, my egt's climb up there pretty high as well.

Dean what kind of gauge cluster do you have?
