2004 F-150, 35" Tires, What Lift Is Needed?

I've got a 2004 F-150 Lariat and I just bought a set of Federal COURAGIA M/T 35x12.50 R18 tires to go on it, I was just wondering if a 2 1/2" or 2.5" leveling kit would be enough or there's something else I have to do. I'm going to be running.

With factory wheels/back spacing you can fit 35s but risk whipping out your finders if you bottom out the suspension. I would assume your new rims will stick out some meaning you can't turn the tires without hitting the body of your truck. Your going to need a 6 inch lift. I wouldn't do anything shorter.

On my last F-150 I had 33's with either a 1.5" or 2" leveling kit and the tires were fine without any rubbing. I am keeping the stock wheels.
