PCM will it make my fuel pump run nonstop
I have a 2006 f150 5.4 since November I have had to put in 4 fuel pumps and a fuel pump module. Also the tank has been cleaned and the fuel lines and injectors at the Ford dealership. Today I noticed that my fuel pump doesn't shut off I'm not sure how long it should stay on but I know it shouldn't run non stop. This would explain the fuel pumps burning out. That last pump only lasted about a month and a half. Would a bad PCM make the pump run and not shut off? Is there anything else that would cause this. Need help before this pump goes out and I'm stuck on the side of the road again waiting on a tow truck and a big repair bill!
