How long to get a Vin#

Appears to vary greatly. I ordered on 8 Nov, VIN on 28 Dec, Built 17 Jan and delivered 2 Feb. Apparently, larger dealers get quicker processing of orders.
While it may take a while, believe me, it's WORTH IT! Love my truck.

Took me about 4 weeks to vin. Another couple/3 to window sticker then 7 days to build (that's the only part that is predictable, IMHO).
Took 1.5 weeks to get out of yard in KY and into yard in my area. Then 1.5 weeks to get from yard to dealer.
I understand where you are. It can be painful, but worth it in the end................

Recieved VIN 11 Jan (4 weeks)
Window Sticker/Build Date 27 Jan (2 weeks)
Delivery 26 Feb (4 weeks)
UPDATE: Just called the dealer and the truck was unloaded off the train at the depot here in El Mirage, AZ (near Phoenix) last night @ 2:20AM
Just waiting for them to call me back with when it will be delivered to them....

I didn't pay to much attention to the dates but it was about a week on mine to get a vin. ordered on Jan 13 and it should be in my hands by the end of the week. a little over a month for the whole process for me, unless something goes haywire in the next day or two.

I just check with my dealer and i now have a Vin in 1 week as I ordered the truck 2/7 so it looks like its moving right along

I told my dealer when I ordered that I wasn't in a huge hurry and could wait a bit to get the truck, apparently he took that to mean it was the lowest possible priority.

Delivery? I'm guessing mid to late March by the time it makes its way up here.
That would make it 3.5-4 MONTHS to get the truck.
Seeing the speed that some of you guys are getting VINs and taking delivery, it's gone from being ridiculous to pissing me off...

Delivery? I'm guessing mid to late March by the time it makes its way up here.
That would make it 3.5-4 MONTHS to get the truck.
Seeing the speed that some of you guys are getting VINs and taking delivery, it's gone from being ridiculous to pissing me off...
