what are the trannie and oil pans made of on a 02 sd? aluminum or what?

So / maybe some pot magnets (3 inch/ 60 lb) might work on the oil, trannie and diff to collect the wear filings............before fluid changes , just pull the magnets and most filings will flush out of the bottoms?

The engine oil drain plug probably already has a magnet in it and the transmission pan has a magnet around where the drain plug is.
