F250 SCab step bars on an '06 F150

F250 SCab step bars on an '06 F150
I know the mounting holes will not line up. But will I weaken the integrity of the truck and the step if I fab up brackets to fit the bar and drill new mounting holes in the rocker of the truck?

If your going to do that you need to attach it to the frame. IF you properly do that, you shouldnt have any problems.

I think if you do any fabing...it should be on the steps and not the truck. Match the bar to the truck not the truck to the bar.
