my truck for some time worsening w/time seems to run lower than normal rpm in OD espeacially at hgy speeds and when light throttle is applis it jerks unless I take out of OD or massage the throttle... had a code replaced the right bank cat no light but same issue?.. help please
Sounds like you might have a spark plug or coil pack breaking down causing a misfire. Could also be a bad injector, but most of the time it is a coil. What is the mileage and have you had the spark plugs replaced?
I have 110K on it drive 60 mi. round trip hoghway maintain it closely it has been present for last 30K getting slowly worse till a cpl months ago had a check light went in to dealer scan it 2 times diff appts and swapped the O2 sensors f/r to double check the code (least that was what was recommended) and came up as a right bank catalytic converter issue. so I swapped it out and a cpl months ago did a tranny filter change. now the light is gone and still have the stutter when in OD or mainly in the 12-1800 RPM range. I have not changed plugs or packs but did not show on either scan would it not? saw a tsb that was similiar to the issue and wondered if it might be a shift solenoid or torque converter?..hope that is enough background lol

What you are discribing sounds more like an engine issue than a transmission problem. You are way overdue for spark plugs. I suggest a complete tune-up including fuel and air filters. You may also have some weak COPs as a result of worn spark plugs.

well I have changed them at regular intervals (fuel / Air filters) but it only has an issue in the 12-1800 Rpm range all others runs great so I would most likely rule out plugs as at high rpm is seems fine just that range it has issues?
any one know why an 05 f150 trans would slip only in second gear. It started to do it yesterday with no warning and dosent do it all the time. fluids have been changed every 15-20 thousand. I pulled pan and it looks like new no metal or shavings in bottom. thanks for any help
