Have you tried to find out why "all" the gauges quit before going into this change over?

i have looked into lots of things on it and took it to the ford place they "think" its the cluster which was $300-400 so much easier and cheaper to put aftermarket gauges

Consider the following.
Head temp, either electric or mechanical and the plumbing.
Oil pressure same deal.
Alternator charge, what will you do there?
Fuel gauge; the sender is part of the fuel pump assembly.
Speedometer, where and how will you pick up the correct speed indication?
Then you need to mount and light all them yet.
By the time you work all this out, $400 might look good.
I have Aux oil pressure and Trans temp electric gauges but all in my electronic stock dash works.
Good luck.

Chances are the instrument power supply on the back of the instrument cluster died.
