Hi John,, I had the same stripes on my BII. I used mommas hair drier to heat it up and soften the tape,, came rigfht off once you get 1 end started. also used paint scrasper or tool with single edge razor blade. For replacement stripes, check out> www.logoride.com . they have some stuff you may like, decals, seat cover kits, stuff like that. also check out the ads at top of this page...... Larry
There's also a rotary tool that removes tape or pin stripe tape that is available from some of the auto supply stores that sell body shop supplies. Ask around to see who has it. It is supposed to remove only the tape and not affect or damage the paint.
John - if you take the hairdrier route, test in an area not generally visible to perform your study (under hood?). Otherwise, Stan's suggestion might fit your ticket. Kevin
