Exclamation help!!!

ok made a mistake. on the drivers side valve cover there is a air hose the goes from intake to top of the valve cover what is that? i just tried to pop it off and the plastic peice connetting hose to vlve cover broke and i and little peice fell into the hole. So i guess i am needing to take valve cover off now to find the piece. what is the plastic part call that i am needing. Oh it is the v10. Thanks

ok so i looked down in the whole you cant see the top of heads so will the plastic peice go all the way down inside or just sit on top of the little shelf thingy in there.

i am gonna hook up my shop vac to that little breather hole and see if it has enough power to suck the little peice of plastic out its only about 1/8th of an inch long tops if even that big. wish me luck

If your shop vac has a skinny attachment you can probably suck it out. If it is a small plastic piece, it will most likely wash down into the oil pan and come out in your next oil change.

it is real tiny so you think it would be ok to run the truck that way, i just did not wont it going into the valve spring. what i might do if that is the case is run it then go change oil today.

anyone else have an opion. think piratechaser has the right idea. anyone know the size of the oil passages.

I think you will be ok. Just go to the auto parts store and explain the piece to them and they should have it in stock or you may need to order it.

Crank case ventaliation is all is suppose to do.

Inside the valve cover they make a small piece of steel to semi cover the opening so oil does not splash out and then get sucked up the rubber hose.
