PANEL PLANNING (dash) 89 and up space options
For now, just a look at a spare DASH panel I'm playing with... (there's lots of room for more stuff!)
The indicators can be used for all kinds of things from glow lighting to idiot lights!
I want to add a glow strip above the C/B so I can read the switches at a glance
The 3X2 panel can be popped out, and once the ribs are carved away you can mount stuff in it (including a felt backing)
Direct under the MIKE is the HVAC controls - so no/no land
The ashtray area - yeah maybe but NO
TOO small, amigo. It needs a small unit.
WHAT ELSE can stick in there?

- a lot depends on the console
You know - as I think crassly about it even late front-drive models have a transmission tunnel molded or shaped into the flooring. That's exploitable...

I'm also looking for the right place to mount a button for an "OOGAH" horn. But that's an ergonomic preference...
I like the front of the armrest, but I'm not sure how to do it.
