Ain't that the truth. I had to learn to take care of the Alpaca, because no one wanted to deal with sheering him. I think the biggest concern is that they get them confused with Llamas in thinking that they spit, bite etc.
I finally just had to do it myself after checking with MTSU, the extension office, and even at 2 local co-ops around here. Takes a little bit longer then messing with sheep as you get position them like you can sheep.
After 5 yrs of doing it, I got it down though. Not to a science, but to where it takes hardly any time at all.
