Tranny

I have a 64 ford F100 with a 292. Itis a 4 speed on the floor. It has the 1 first gear granny gear. What tranny is this?

Believe from mid 50's to 64 the original tranny is a T98, then followed by the T18; which came out in 65. The only way to rule T98 out from being a T18 is to open the top cover and count gear teeth, and the T98 will also have a smaller pilot shaft. There's then the NP435 where the shift pattern is different, on my T18 reverse is to the right and up; whereas, the NP435 reverse is to the right and down.
