Looking to buy F150
I have been looking at some high mileage used F150 SuperCrew 4x4. I want to stay under $20k and have found a few w/ 100k miles listed from $12 to $17. I test drove a nice 04 Laramie w/ a small lift, wheels, tires and it's was loaded. I was surprised how clean and tight it was for having 100k miles. They had it listed at $17,999 and were telling me that is $2k under book. It will have a free two month warranty. I threw out $17 even and they seemed to want to jump at that but I left and will come back next week and am thinking more in the $15's or lower. I have a couple more that are cheaper and will test drive them next week. My main question is should I stay away from a F150 with that many miles? I can always spend more money but I dont want to!

I wouldn't be as concerned about the mileage as I would the year. If you can, go with the newest one you can, 2006+ if possible, the early ones had a few bugs to work through. Also, have them change the spark plugs as a condition of the sale.
