Ya, they are pretty simple, inside the reservoir was mucking in spots but there didn't seem to be any wear. All the kit consists of is O-rings and a seal..pressure reducing valve took all of 5 minutes to add the shims..

Ok, I didn’t even look how to open it up.. at a quick glance, it looked like the body was all sealed up.

There is either one or two bolts on the back plus the one where the high pressure hose attaches to, then tap around the can with a dead blow hammer to free the pump, that's where the first o ring is..

Ok, good to know. Mine is pretty rusty, but might clean up if I ever wanted too.

I plugged to orifices and put it in my sandblast cabinet ,electrical tape around the shaft. Sprayed it down with brake clean before taking it apart..then cleaned all the inside..

I would guess quite a few, my nieghbour that gave me the 80 Mercury car claimed it was rebuilt but I have my doubts.

I didn’t know that’s what the crown Vic was for. Good luck with it, hopefully it’s a good spare engine.

Still kind of grey here. Supposed to be like this and rain for quite awhile.
With the rusted frame that's all the Crown Vic is good for, shame as it only has 149,000 kms.
Getting a few spits of rain, supposed to be like this for the next 10 days.

I will soon, the carb is a bit wonky cold but it runs much better once the engine is warmed up.
