Tim, I think you're right. I had only been a member for about a month at that point. Celebrated 2 years in the Ox this weekend by taking through the countryside for about 110miles!

But honestly, Chevron Techron. 2 bottles at once, about once a year.

 

This thread is great - thanks I was wondering what to get , Techron it is. My new truck was working on farms so its pretty gunky all over gonna get a few cans into it this weekend!

 

I would just dose it as recommended. If the gas tank is gunked up, you may have to change the fuel filter if you loosen up a bunch of sludge or debris. If it is an old carbureted vehicle, I always did well with Gumout in the old days but Techron is a more modern detergent formula that makes more sense for injectors.
