Alternator Problems???
I have a 2004 F-250 6.0L. About a week ago I was towing my 28ft enclosed cargo trailer and all the gauges on the dash board shut down and than turn back on. Also the stereo shut off and than turned back on. A week later my battery light on the dash was flickering. A day after the battery light was flickering I was driving down the road and the lights shut off and the truck started running very bad, it was as if a cylinder wasn't firing. The batterys on the truck are every good ones and only 2-3 months old. The alternator is about a year old, so I'm not quite sure whats going on. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

Dead alternator and or dead pigtail.
Replace the pigtail to start --- presume it guilty until proven innocent.
Buy the Ford pigtail kit and save yourself the grief of rounding up all the parts unless you are a electronics repair guy.
Check alternator output, if good, come back and tell us.
If bad, new alternator.
Be sure you do the resets properly.
"Do 2 computer resets and call me in the morning".
