im new
Hey im new on here. My names Matt I'm 24 from morganton nc. I am the owner of a 1961 f100 unibody. I cant figure out how to post pics sense I am doing it from mobile. But anyway more about my truck.
Currently it has a 86 302 roller motor (soon to be a 351w) with a t5 speed and 300 gear.
Has a pinto front suspension with rack and pinion. Power steering and power brakes. With a cougar xr7 tilt steering column.
It was just painted in October. 2 tone. Indian Silver Metallic and Glamour Plum Metallic. With Pearl ghost flames. The Pearl was a 50/50 mix of lavender and white. Which is hard to get a picture of.
I have also put a wood bed in the back. Which is 5 pieces of stained pine.
Hopeful soon I can post pics.

Most people upload pics to photobucket or some other photo-hosting site and post them to the forum that way. Maybe there's an easier way from your mobile device but I don't know.
Good luck! Enjoy the site!

It seems awkward, but whenever you "insert a picture" to one of these threads, the forum is looking for the picture somewhere on the web (which is always available) rather than from somewhere on your hard drive (which isn't always available).

Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and sign up for a free account. Then create an album for your truck. Upload any pics you want to post on FTE to that album. Have this album open on your computer when you want to post pics on FTE.
While you're making a post on FTE, select the pic you want to post from your Photobucket album. When the large version of the pic is open, right mouse click on it and select "View Image Info". The image info will be highlighted and will look something like this:
The best photos and videos | Photobucket
Copy that highlighted info (right click / copy).
When you have the spot in your post where you want the pic to be placed, select the "Insert Image" icon at the top of the post (looks like a mountain) and paste (right click / paste) the image info you copied in the highlighted box (just shows "http://" when it opens).
Your pic will be placed in the post.
Hope that helps.

It's the 262, 4spd. I bought it barely running a driving, already fixed all the major issues other than brakes and of course the body. I'm probably going to end up doing th cc swap with the 4.6. Want it for a daily driver since my diesel is breaking me on parts and fuel. I paid $700 for it and a day later saw one for $2000 without a drivetrain, figure I got a decent deal. I am searching for a tailgate for it though. When I start my build I plan on documenting everything to help anyone else that plans on doing the same thing.

Thanks for the reply back. Hope to follow the build. The best to ya Bud.
Being a long bed it should ride pretty good already. My 62 shorty sure did and it was stock chassis and brakes. Towed several classics back an forth cross country with her. Never saw a need to change any of the chassis. 390 and C6 worked great. Check out the pic's under my user name. May give ya some ideas.
