I live in Grande Prairie. There are still alot of older vechiles parked on farms and stuff. I know a spot where 3 late 70's crewcabs are sitting. He has a couple of cougars and various other cars. Don't ask won't tell where they are.

You are not looking in the right places. My exes father has 3 53 to 55 F-100s in the bush. They are out there. Remeber the cabs on the bigger trucks are the same. Keep an eye on the ag aucton sites too. I was working north of Maple Creek Saskatewan and there is LOTS of 40s and 50s rides the farms and they are in good shape. Talk to the people at gas stations in small towns. You can't see this stuff from the pavement.
