Hahaha, he can have all the snow he wants just not now. Well of course i won that race. I run a 125 wet shot of nitrous in that 01 mustang, I lost some that night to as well, a 67 charger that "looked stock" beat me so bad i thought somebody tied an anchor to me, i thought i had that race. His car was quiet, wasnt all flashy but when i seen the big an lines coming outa the trunk i knew something was up hahaha

Its a blast, but its a scary ride!!!!! Put it this way how big are your pair??? not even kidding. When i post about the sled and how fast it has gone people always say i am full of BS. We still run the sled a couple times a year, so for any body who has doubts come line up againt it

 

I've seen some crazy sleds in my time Luke. at my old job we built a custom turbo charged Ski-Doo RenX 800. That thing could probably take yours. It was scary to ride too. You floor it and it goes, then it spools up and you better be ready! Man that was fun...

 

Kurt Mowhawk of Hibbing mn and of Mowahk salvage did a best of 174mph last year on his sled in a 1000ft. I think it is just insane that fast.

 

They were running about 145 top speed at Haydays I guess. Supposedly in 500 ft? I would love to try it sometime but probably won't

I've only rode that one Ski-Doo that was as crazy like that. More than good for me...

 

It was alot of fun about 3+ years ago but nobody does it anymore. With the economy the way it is nobody is spending money on toys like that anymore, its gotten to be to expensive. Everytime we take that sled out it is always at least 150 bucks, between gas in the pickup, entry fees, premix VP c-16 for the sled, food, beer, lol etc etc etc. It really took all of the fun out of it.

Same with my mustang, its now 60 dollars to get the nitrous bottle refilled up, that'll last 7-8 1/4 passes, Things are gettin way out of control, its really hit hard around where i live nobody goes out anymore and its became kinda gloomy, But i say you gotta make the best out of what you got to work with. When the fun stops, so does everything else
