My dealer doesn't care what I do, but can't help me if ford wants to see the history on the computer and there is something there, like a tuner. I also don't see how it's going to hurt the motor.
So you just ran the first resonator and it was too loud? That is the setup I was looking at. What kind of exhaust do you have on now?

I was concerned about a possible loss of back pressure making the motor run leaner but it seems to improve flow and mileage, at least from what I have read. I appreciate the reply!

I ran around with just the resonators for a while, it sounds good, but got over the drone in the cab with that. I'm back to stock now. Planing on deleting both resonators and running the factory muffler if I can ever find time to make it to the exhaust shop. If I could get magnaflow to respond to an email, I would buy their front y pipe to delete the front resonator myself and just get a piece of 3" for the rear. Also want to change the way the tailpipe exits at such an angle. FWIW, the regular cabs do not have a second resonator, and are noticeable louder.

I also didn't notice any gain in mileage. With the 02 sensors, you shouldn't have any problems running lean.

call them, I called on a muffler for my gfs rig awhile back and they answered right away. The email took almost a month to get back! Thanks for your info on the 250 man. Probably going to opt to go with the large resonator and flowmaster 40 because I do travel a lot and don't want drone, just a different tone then stock

I'm about to bite on a dynomax cat back system for my F250. Any final input/suggestions before I take the plunge? I'm looking for a better tone.

I don't have any feed back on this system for the 6.2, but I've had a dynomax system on a ranger and another vehicle with just the mufflers. I liked the sound and the quality was good. If you find it to loud, simply add on of the resonators back in.

Actually my worry was about it not being loud enough. So many of the systems I see make no real difference.

That's because most don't delete both resonators, some don't delete either one. I THINK, if you go back in this thread somewhere, someone thought this system was to loud.

I have the MagnaFlow kit that is a full 4" cat back kit that deletes the resonator and factory muffler and replaces it with a MagnaFlow muffler, it's 100% stainless and mylocal ford dealer installed it and said it wouldn't affect my warranty at all. It has a nice rumble but nothing insane. I've had it on my truck for almost 30k miles with no issues whatsoever

Do you tow anything with that rig? Wondering how the MagnaFlow system sounds under tow?
