Brakes, brakes and more brakes. New calipers (sorry no high end, 5 piston), New pads, (sorry no green stuff), New hoses, (sorry no stainless), New rotors (sorry no slotted drilled, cryo's).
The Mod'd C's from an F350 (plus 3 Excursion leaves + slapper bar + original bump stop block) are holding up well.
i was in texas when they said it might snow they shut down freeways everyone stayed home scared, it was crazy. if anything bad ever happens for real there everyone will die
Technically the front windows were tinted on Monday but the wind/rain vents ( in channel) were done today since today was the first day I could roll down the front windows. and here are the pics because it did happen....lol
Yes I know I need to wash the excursion.....I am planning on removing the cladding and having the whole truck claybarred washed and waxed hopefully next month.
Got my 2015 rear bumper pieces back from the paint shop and put it back together. They did a pretty good job and the color is spot on. Just waiting for the reverse sensor brackets to arrive so that I can install it. Curious to see how it looks on the Ex with the black plastic step pad... the current one is faded terribly.
thats bumper looks allot better style, is it hard to make it mount up to the excursion?
Use the brackets from your old bumper and it is a straight swap. You need the new style mounts for your backup sensors if you have them... that's about $80 for all four.
Best thing to do is watch Craig'slist... find someone who takes them off their truck for Ranch Hand bumpers or whatever. That is how I scored this one for $200. After you factor in paint and the sensor mounts, it's alittle over $400 but well worth it.
