Received my powerstop front brake assemblies and Crown stainless lines but the fact that Im battling a kidney stone has me sidelined for now. Been 3 weeks and still no stone. Its 5mm so this should be fun.
Fixed my shifter issue. Changed the interlocking steering solenoid and brake light switch. Also fixed the overhead mileage screen with alittle soldering.
I go to change my brake pads and rotors and I find that I have a stuck slide pin. I just put it back together, it's too late to get to Napa to get new slide pins so I'll have to pick some up after class tomorrow.
I thought I had a warped rotor. This definitely explains it. I'm willing to bet the one on the other side is seized up to.
I just need to apply some heat, right?
If I didn't have the Jetta in a million pieces, I'd be totally OK with this right now, lol.
Sitting in Cali, and missing my family and the Ex! There is an Ex here on the base and a fairly nice looking one at that. I have not yet figured out the owner , but if I get a chance, I will steer them here.
I finally had some time to knuckle down and button up my spring swap, hub, and brake replacement. New wheels installed and back on the ground. Now ready for an alignment and still have to finish bleeding the brakes. Love the new look and stance!!!

Truck sure looks good, came out damn near perfect!
Do you have to lower the air pressure in the trailer tires to get it in?
There's an idea lol... Live and learn I guess. I was just going by the seat of my pants hoping it would clear without issue. I had it all measured and knew it would be tight but never thought that tight.
Ill put that tire pressure trick away in the vault for future use.
Thankfully our heavenly father decided to keep the commandments to 10, otherwise I'd be guilty of breaking the 11th commandment: Thou shalt not covet thy friends Excursion.
Used my new motive brake bleeder to bleed the brakes and flush the old fluid out....wish I'd know the old fluid was already clear so I could've found a different colored fluid to help know once the old fluid was out....oh well...next time....up next tie rods and tranny drain and JW valve body install.
