Sounds like maybe a little Fluid Film on a towel rubbed on the door seals might be a fix, the lanolin wax shouldn't bother the rubber much and being a wax it should make for easy releases hot and cold.

My door seals have been good since they where soaked with silicone spray when I did my door seal mod. Haven't had them freeze shut once. N I wash my vehicle when it's below 10-15 out so it has a chance to stay clean.

Can always use the RV slideout weather strip lube/conditioner too.

Picked these 17x9 MT Classic II's up for $200 for 4...That's $160 USD for you southerners, lol.
They were going to be scrapped by the local tire shop chain as they were mounted on a show truck for display purposes a couple years ago.
Had 12 sets they were selling for different vehicles.
Apparently, once mounted, it voids the warranty. After the show, they just shelve them, then scrap them when inventory is done.

Not sure if I am going to keep the finish as is, blast them, or powder coat them. Was thinking black chrome with matte clear.

This came in today

My injector o-rings came in today too so now I'm ready for the intake to be fixed. I have the intake, plugs, coil pack wires, injector o-rings and filters. Time to get this thing put together and then sell it!!!

Only if the new rig has a decent one to put on the old one. The one on mine is crap and makes the rest of the truck look worse.

Fortunately I don't have Silkies. My birds are free range and have a house to go into but some insist on sleeping outside either in open air or a covered area. I think they will be OK as long as I can keep them watered.

Left it at home and drove the wifes' van, I'm not going to trust it in these temps until I get some new Motorcraft 850's strapped in there. Especially since I end up spending more time at work than at home and have no where to plug it in while at work. Oh well, such is life.

Nice score. What kind of tires are you putting on them? Do they have any more? I would like to get some.

Thanks, I was lucky to grab them, all sold in less than an hour.
The others were bought by one individual. These were the only
8x170mm, and they had the right back spacing.
Still debating on tires/size. I have 35s ATs on my factory wheels,
so thinking more aggressive AT or MT for summer tire. Would like to go 37,
but not sure if it's worth it. I tow with it and I need 5 of them!

Screw the Motorcraft 850s, I've had them and don't like them, neither do my trucks.

I recently installed a set of maintenance free O'Reilly Extreme Start batteries. They turn my 6.0 over with some serious authority and haven't let me down.

They 7.3 has the Duralast Gold Maintenance batteries you have to water every now and again. Maintenance free Extreme Start batteries are what's going under the hood once they give up the ghost.

Depending on where you live, Autozone is replacing the 1000ca batteries with 700 ca batteries. Just a heads up, the more power the better for these Diesel engines.
