I changed my front wheel bearings (Left/Right, Timken), the axles seals, outer stub seal, new EBC Blacked DimplednGroove Disc, new EBC Yellow Stuff and
new Teflon SS-Braided Break Lines.
Ah, and I upgraded to DOT4 breakfluid after a intense flush.

Pics or it didn't happen Mike!! You know the rules
Ouch Russ. Mines down to 8.9 average will all the towing lately and that seemed painful to me. I will stop complaining now.
i live in the 7s in the winter, few tanks usually hit the 6's.
supposed to get chilly this week(lows -5/-10F highs 10/15F)..nothing crazy yet but i usually do an hour to an hour and half of idling a day to keep her toasty warm for my travels.
It's only like that if you drive it like you don't care about fuel consumption.
I'm meticulous about NEVER idling unnecessarily, and my fuel economy ever dipped into the single digits unless I was pulling something. I'd own another V10 without thinking twice.
But my lifetime average on my F150 is 17.3, and it pulls as much as the X ever did!
800-1000 a month?!? Holy crap! How many miles a week? I drive about 250-300 a week and usually spend 75-80 to fill up. That might slightly go down though as I have a new daily driver

when i was spending that much a month it was for 3 trucks (explorer, expedition and excursion)
yes i have never driven with concern for MPG, secondly i'm not going to freeze my *** off in a cold truck, third its a safety issue when windows are covered in frost and you cant see out of them.
recently i do about 30 miles a (week)day with the Excursion, the Expedition is getting about 250 miles a week on it.
just checked i only spent about $580 last month on fuel. whew!
and no i could not buy another Ex every year. most i spend on one truck per year is $4-4.5k.
ah yeah im the complete opposite lol. ill give my truck enough time so i can see somewhat out of the window, but im always dressed for work outside the cold for a few mins in my truck doesnt bother me
Me and the wife were spending $400 a month on 2 Explorers so we got rid of them LOL.... using my Excursion it is only $200 a month for that one alone.... for work purposes that is....

To give you an idea, my truck sits in the garage (detached) at home set at 60-65 degree's. I remote start it with both heaters on high (stay that way all winter) for about 15mins before i walk out and take off for work in the morning. I'll tell you this its NICE and toasty and blowing HOT air on me.
before lunch i start it around 11:40am when leaving @ noon for lunch.
before leaving to go home i start it around 4:30pm before i leave around 5ish.
if it snows and starts sticking to the windows i'll fire it up and just let it warm up and keep the windows clear so i dont have to clean them off.
did i mention i hate driving a cold truck? my heated seats are getting installed soon
