According to the latest issue of Car & Drivel Magazine (new car issue), the Sport Trac has been cancelled, so your only choice for a new one is a 2010.
The Explorer, which the Sports Trac is based on, is all new for 2011, it's now a unit bodied crossover.
Just what Ford needs, another crossover. Guess they figure the Edge, Escape and Flex aren't enough.
btw, Edmunds and Consumer Reports both say the GM trucks, SUV's are overpriced by at least 20%.
Which means it's possible to buy a 38 grand truck for 28/30 grand.

I hate stuck bolts. I really do. This one is at the rear of the trans, and its recessed in the thing that the driveshaft goes into. Mother frakker is stuck. So, bolt loosener is in there, gonna give that some time to do it's magic. See if it helps.
And fwiw, I tried to price an F-150. I tried to price it similar to what mine was, but in todays trucks. First off, I can't have certain items without the whole frakking group, which, depending on the group rasies the price allot more than I'd be willing to pay. So, while leaving off some stuff, it came out to $23,700. not too bad, I guess. Considering it was all standard nothing special.
Edit: For the hell of it, did a Ranger, too. Came out to $17,760. And I can't even fit in the damn thing. Well, I can, but it's not very comfy, and I'm a bit squished. Them trucks ain't made for a tall big guy.

I know what you mean not fitting in the rangers. I'd take my dad's regular cab to work to service it. I'd hit my head and my knee would rub on the bottom of the dash. Definitely not "big" guy friendly.
