Right now I'm using an sct chip and tuning program. My tuner right now is the only on dealing with the tune. Mostly because the chip has multiple positions so we can load a lot of tunes at one time. After we get the final tune I'm going to switch everything to a moates chip. Then I could tune myself.
How difficult would it be to take off all the emissions stuff i have now, i hear it hurts mileage really bad. And what would i have to do to get the check engine light to stay off exactly? Wouldnt mind cleaning up the motor a bit and making room for future addons

Its easy taking everything off. I did have to grind down the lower altenator bolt because the belt would rub alittle. but after i figured out what belt size i needed to by pass the air pump it was easy. As far as mileage i dont really know. this truck is built for power not mileage but its not to bad when im out of boost. but as soon as i start hitting max boost the fuel goes quick. The check engine light is turn off in the tune all we have to do is turn off all the emissions stuff in the computer. The engine bay looks alot better with all the emissions stuff off, and hasnt effected the way the truck runs. the 351 throttle body i put on messes with it more but once the tune is redone there shouldnt be any problems.
Awesome. Either way i was looking into just something to do to my truck till the school gets back with me on my budget. Think i will remove the emissions and see if the local shop and start to help me tune and get things set.
I shot all the video but the computer that I edit with crashed so it might take longer to get up but it seems like it will be some good video. I'll get better after tune. Even with the imperfect tune it will still hit the 135 speed limiter with no problem.
finally have my computer back up and running working on video now. The driving part I'm not going to put in it because the exhaust is so loud you can't hear the turbo. so im going to just do a teaser for now and after the tune I'll put the camera in a different spot and see if I can get more of the turbo sound if not then I'll wait till i get a muffler for it. The truck doesnt sound bad just alittle to loud for me. I like hearing the turbo but now since i took off the cats its hard to hear it. I also finally got my meth injection kit and am putting it on the truck this week and maybe have it done this weekend.
Very nice. Now a bit curious when starting it why the starter sounded like it struggled to turn over. Unless its the set up you have. I would rather my truck did that as it started. Makes it sound mean as hell when it turns like that than kicks in and sounds bad ***.
