Dash question

Hello.
I have a 66 F-100 custom cab.
I got the dash cluster from a 64 non custom cab.
I was wondering if these would swap out (I have the metal piece and the odometer/gauges) without cutting up the dash.
I was going to cut the round holes out on the 64 dash to put a 3 inch tach in one side, and something else in the other. That way I don't have to mount gauges/tachs under the dash, and I won't destroy the custom cab dash cluster either.
Please let me know.
If they won't interchange, I will have to get rid of it

Andy, This is a screw in swap. But! Why do this? The current cluster provides all the information a driver needs and the warning lights are more effective than a gage sneaking down while you are not looking. Keep the 66 cluster and add a small steering column mounted tac. If you decide to swap out the 66 cluster, I could use it! Mine was painted and has cracks at the screw holes.

I think this dash has lights also. Only has gas gauge and somin else.
I want to use it because I don't have the factory steering column (out of a 70 something) and the tach I found would go right in the hole if I cut it out.
If you need a custom cab dash for a 66 I might can find you oen cheap.
Check ebay tho
