Flywheel Problem
I was needing to know were is a good place to get a flywheel for my 74 it has a 360 in it? I bought a flywheel from Advance for a 360 an not all of it would line up. Should I buy one for a 390 instead? An Advance told me that I can take the old flywheel to a machine shop & they can put new teeth on it an clean it up should I do that instead? The old flywheel has the Ford stamped on it.

The starter ring is just heated and slid in place. To remove it you heat it with a torch and tap it off. Reverse this to install.
Take the Ford flywheel to an auto machine shop and have it faced and a new ring put on.
