Well after taking everything I could apart (with in reason),and cleaning it. I put everything back together,disconnected battery cable for reset. After reconnect,started her back up and bingo, no service engine soon light. So I hope this becomes one of the cheapest and quickest repairs I've done. Thanx Ken
Commet;
My hope is with you but due to what the code was set for, you may wish for to much.
You have a v6 motor as the 1518 code would only apply to.
It's an IMRC monitor error code caused by a possible ground or an actuator motor fault, so expect it might reappear some time.
So you know where to look.
It's not super serious but goofs up the engine power a bit if the motor actuator is stuck open or closed.
Good luck.
