I've bought Lund in the past, but was also wondering what to get for my 2010 XLT. I'll probably go Lund again.

Well Lund's website is listing auto ventshade applications for the bug shield. Here are a couple from amazon. I had a Lund Interceptor before and it was great but it doesn't look like they have any models available for 2009-2010 trucks. I'm not sure how these are but the price is pretty good.

Amazon.com: Auto Ventshade 23009 Bugflector Smoke Hood Shield: Automotive

Amazon.com: Wade 72-96148 Smoke Tint Platinum Bug Shield: Automotive

Seems a little pricey for me... The website wants 79.95 including shipping. Wish Amazon had it for sale through Amazon itself.

I installed the weatherTech bug shield. I have been very happy with it so far. No wind noise as in whistling sounds some have reported with other bug shields. The install was very simple and straight forward. It does go on easier if you have an extra set of hands to help.

One thing about weatherTech products, they fit perfectly. I have the floorliners and mudflaps and the all fit perfect.

Weathertech has a very good picture of the bug shield on a truck on their web site. It looks just like how mine looks on my truck.

How does each attach? Are they pretty solid? Screwed in, taped? anyone use the short ones? Do they work well? What about Ford brand? I have a coupon for a nice discount at the parts dept., so I may go that route.

Double-sided tape in the middle (which is why having two sets of hand is a big plus). Optional screws on the ends (I put them in). Very solid.
