HAHAHAHA, maybe... but if it's possible, I'm game. I'll re-check my connections on the ICP in the meantime. Is there any places in oarticular that I could also s=check for wire chaffing? Maybe this is the issue? The "OBD systems readiness test not complete" response from the scanner is kind of bothering me..???

ya that system readness test will pass when all the moniter runs. the truck is a no start so not gonna happen. just ignor the p1000 code and treat it as a pass dtc.

will do. I'll check the actual oil filter housing tomorrow for fluid and let you know. Just so you know, I REALLY appreciate all of your help on this. Thanks!

NEW DATA:
ICP volts - 0.00KOEO and also while cranking
Injector control pressure desired - 2014 while cranking
Injector control pressure - 2013 while cranking
Injector control pressure regulator KOEO - 14.84%
Injector control pressure regulator while cranking - 60.50%
FICM logic power - 12v
FICM main power - 48v and 48.5v while cranking

I have not yet removed the oil filter to check for low pressure oil available, but it appears that the HPOP is creating pressure. I guess an immediate concern would be the 0.00 volts at the ICP?
This data was acquired using the autoenginuity scan tool (awesome equipment)

ya that would give you a p2285 with 0v. you would need to fix that concern to determin if you really have 2013 psi while cranking. I would disconnect the icp sensor and see if it will start.
also the ipr should be at 84% while cranking but this goes back to the p2285 concern for now.

you really also need to look at sync and ficmsync while cranking and make sure they go from no to yes.
just so you understand sync and ficmsync do...
sync is the sync of crank and cam signal's to the pcm. ficmsync is the the sync signal that the pcm gets and ships to the ficm. if both dont say yes then you also have an issue there.
I for some reason suspect an issue with the connector to the icp. unpluging it will set it to default. if miswired you can basicly short vref to signal return and get a nostart hmmmm, also 0pis would indacte that it may not be pluged in all the way as well.

Ok, so first things first. I'll go unplug the ICP to see what we get and also check sync and FICM sync. I'll post the results shortly. thanks!

Ok... FICM sync went to yes... crank and cam sensors did not go to yes. batterys are now low and I will charge them. my driveway is muddy so I will attempt to disconnect the ICP from the top. I thought that yesterday when I ran the test for sync of the crank and cam sensors that it went to yes, but today... it didn't.

the cam and crank pids are just fault pids, does the ae not support both SYNC and FICMSYNC ?

I saw no where that it says "sync". what I did find was a test that says "CKP and CMP are in sync" the indicator stayed on "no" while I was cranking it.

Worst mistake I ever made was selling my tools. I was a Honda line tech up until 98, got out of it when the dealerships in AZ started writing their own flat rate times for the techs and still charging full book rates to the customers...
Diesels are a whole new game for me

Any ideas where to get a wiring schematic for the ICP? I have already thrown away the old connector and if my new one is wired wrong, I will need a method for straightening it out.
