Need help from 7.3 VETS

I have a 2002 f350 its got 103k on it. Just got it my last one got ripped off in front of my house. Anyways the i live in colorado and the weather is crazy allways up and down. The truck starts right up when its plugged in at night. The problem is when i get off work it wont start right away cause its not plugged in. THe weather as been fair by the time i get off work its still about 50 outside. My last 7.3 i never had an issues with it starting at this temp i would just have to let it warm up a bit before i headed home. Friend said it mite be the ICP so i changed that and still the same thing. Now before i start spending money on a bunch of things that myte not be it i wanted to get some opinions for you guys.

Thanks
Bob

This same thing was happening to me. Good at home. hard at work . The next time your are at work. Drop a 3/8 short extension across the terminals of the GPR. To warm up the gp's for a minute. Then start it. If it goes then it is indeed GPR. I had to do this for almost a week while i waited for the snail mail to deliever my Whooper GPR. I should have just swapped the wires to use the AIH relay for that time. But i like seeing my motor everyday.

Then pick up a Stancor. Welcome to guzzle's Stancor GPR replacement Mod Web Page

The stancor is much larger and rated higher then the stock GPR. Much less expensive also. Best deal I have seen lately for the Stancor 586-902 is at onlinecomponents.com Shop around you may find it cheaper. If you do post a link.
