'86 F-250, 140k, 4-speed with GearVendor OD, an (Arrowcraft?) dually conversion and bed, and an ATS 088. $2100 in March 2011. Traded it for the '94 with a 351w in January 2012.

'84 F-350, can't remember the mileage, 4-speed legit dually. No turbo. Traded my '94 F-250 with a 351w for it straight up, in July 2012. Sold in November 2012 due to baby on the way and it being only a single cab.

'94 F-250, 318k, E4OD, no turbo. Needed new tires immediately, had to replace the radiator, thermostat, bunch of hoses, coolant, lots of stuff over a year and then most likely it had a blown head gasket (wouldn't stop overheating when towing). $1000 cash plus my 2000 Honda XR650R, in March 2013. Traded in to the dealer, with our '96 Mercedes E300D, on a 2004 Chevy Tahoe in November 2013.

Oh, and $2100 for my 04 F-350 6.0, in April 2014.

Well I only purchased my engine, so I guess I only got half the truck lol...

But for what I did buy I paid $350 for a Late 1986 6.9L IDI with a T19 and a DNE2 Overdrive Unit that was complete for that price... screaming deal... Engine came from a 1987 F250 with only 120,000 miles on it and ran when it was pulled, the original owner had wanted a PSD so he swapped into a 7.3 PSD and didn't want the engine... Didn't even know what he had

Then the Truck it's going in is my 1976 F250 Custom Super Cab Longbed 2wd truck that I picked up for the screaming number of $500 and then sold the Engine and Trans for $450 so in reality I paid about $50 for the thing... does that mean my Truck cost me $400?

$400 plus a non-trivial amount of your time. Still, a '76 in that ^^^^^^ kind of shape is, well, non-existent in these parts. The fenders alone would go for $500 around here. You're gonna build yourself a screamin' unique truck.

Oh yeah, it's just potatoes comp;ared to the worth of it all when it's all done... especially in Fuel savings (my other rig is a 1974 Ford F250 body with a 1979 F150 4x4 Chassis and a Built 408 with 4 speed and 4:10 gears on 35s... let's just say 20MPG isn't even possible there lol.

But finding this truck like that sitting under a pine tree after 5 years and with nearly no miles or damage isn't heard of too much in these parts, but yet I can find Densides pretty well all day long for $500 or so.

Should be cool when done though, hoping for 20MPG or better with any luck...

I have the Build Thread here if anyone is interested:
