sharing a printer issue....

I've got a hp laserjet 3030 connected via p.cable to a xp desktop. the printer is shared.

I have an xp laptop and a vista laptop. (connect to network via wireless)

There are 0 issues printing with the xp laptop,

The vista laptop needs a driver for the printer to work I've tried DL'ing the drivers from hp, using the driver cd, nothing will work. Its like the inf file that vista is looking for isnt found anywhere.

Any ideas?

I'm sure that the site given by ctubutis will get what you need, but there might be a back door if you still have problems.

You should be able to get the laptop to work as a print server and route your desktop print jobs through it. I did that for a while. I can't remember what I did to set it up, but it wasn't hard.
