On the B&M Megashifter from Summit, does it come with a cable? They run about $160, I hope it comes with one. A cable is another 30 bucks.

Jason at the risk of being rude did you call Summit, and ask them what comes with the shifter that they sell? They do have an 800 number.

Well, like alot of people, I was just brainstorming on putting the shifter in, as I don't exactly have the money for it right now. I didn't have time to call summit and thought this may be a good topic for the message board.

I was just talking to a co-worker about this the other day. He has been into hot-rodding for about 30 yrs and is a great source of info. He stated that the b m is cable operated and is not adjustable. This means you might have to loop the cable to get rid of the excess. The Hurst is adjustable and in his opinion, the best for the bucks. Summit might know if the cable comes with the deal and I would think it would. From a replacement/wear standpoint, the cable does-the shifter doesn't.

Steve.
