Engine ID
Can anybody tell me what this engine originally came out of? The ID numers I could find are:
D8EA-9C485-BE
And there is a A-275 there, too. I don't know what that means.
Can anybody help me here? Thanks

Do you have any idea what size(cid) it is? The D8 indicates a 78 casting but the E is for the Pinto line. I think you might need to clean it up and look again-if this is the number cast in the block above the starter. Check the valve cover sticker, too, if it has one.
