I'd just like to say that my truck runs. And GOOD.

Cranked her up two days ago and drove a little. Idled up, bled the air from the radiator, and sure enough idled nicely and no smoke from the tailpipe when warm. I don't believe the idle is high (need a tach for my multimeter), so I'm thinking the cluster is off. I've gotta yank it anyways to fix a light out.

I've done a lot to this truck, and now it's ready to get the tiny things done so it can pass inspection. If you could've seen my face as I backed it out the yard and went down the road haha.

It is a great feeling! Good for you to get her on the road. I hope you get many miles from her.

Congrats.

Yea, I honestly didn't even take pics of the process. I'll snap pics of the new tanks, and some new underhood shots, there are a few things you can tell are new haha.

That was my problem. I was so focused on working on it, forgot to engrave my work in history. I'll have to put up a video when I seafoam it.

Battery is sulfated, so I'm taking that to work tomorrow to sit it on the battery charger to see if I can wake it up. If not, my father offered to buy me a new one. Him thanking me for doing rear pads and rotors, installing a new battery, and left front brake hose in his 2000 F150 haha. Oh and tag lights so he can pass inspection.

My truck's tag light assembly on the driver side is rusted, got the old bulb out and new one won't go in (and the contact is lopsided so wouldn't work anyways), so gonna grab one from the jy and wire it in. Passenger one lights but flickers, so that's gotta be fixed too, looks like a hack job underneath honestly.
