Hot start problems

I have a 86 302 efi motor in my truck. My truck will start fine when its cold, but for it to start when its hot, i have to put the pedal to the floor to do the clear flood mode before it will start. I have replaced the fuel pressure regulator, both fuel filters, replaced the computer, cleaned the throttle body, changed tps, iac, read codes on the motor, there's no codes present. truck runs great when it is started, and like stated, starts great when its cold and has been sitting all night long. any ideas? I have also checked fuel pressures, and pressure does not drop after sitting for 5 minutes or a hour, same pressure in the rail, so its not leaking past the injectors as it sits. Anybody have any ideas to check?

air filter has been replaced....i do have a problem with to much blowback or blowby or whatever you call it, pcv has been replaced, and all vacuum lines to pcv/intake/etc are clear and not blocked, but it still puts out alot of smoke/oil etc out the breather on the driverside valve cover. As for the spark plugs, they have a few thousand miles on them, i have replaced them about 4 times in the past 10k miles, is there any certain brand/type plug that runs best on these engines or doesnt run very well? it has some autolite's in it right now

I don't know. All that blow-by is a indicator the engine is shot, or you have a cracked piston ring or two. What do the plugs look like when you pull them? Fouled with oil pretty bad?

You might want to take the hose off the valve cover and let it puke out on the ground if all that smoke is overwhelming the aircleaner/throttle body area.

my buddies mom had the same problem with her 92 camero (typical chevy). but he finally found that the fuel lines were getting to hot and forming a vapor lock in them so he rerouted the fuel lines and hasnt had a problem since.

the plugs look fine when i pull them out, you really think that the engine is shot? could the blowby have something to do with sludge in the top of the engine? like in the lifter valley or in the heads or something, maybe not letting enough vacuum come through the motor to pull it from the driverside out the pcv valve on the other side? idk, im just trying to figure it out, engine only has about 130k miles on it, truck has sat for about 6-7 years, and when i pulled valve covers, there was quite a bit of sludge in the heads, i vacuumed as much out and cleaned it the best i could. im stumped... aside from all this, the engine runs great
