Head cracked on the chevy, was blowing coolant out the exhaust when it was kinda running.

now, she looks like a mall crawler and she is until i finish it. i did wheel her before i got the last set of tires on. waiting for gears and a few other things to get worked out before she gets back out there and breaks some stuff.



this was the 37's and they just didnt cut it with the weight.

 

the pics were taken before i did a few more things to it. moved the rear axle back, built ladder bars outta 1.5" dom tubing .250 wall with 3/4x3/4 heim joints. also did a z bar outta the same. cut outs for the rear and 5.38's

i'm not sure how i feel about this truck. the wife says "its purdy, but that thingy on the bed makes it look like its not a truck to me."

i like big trucks, but those military/industrial tires **** me off for some reason, like they're just ginormous all-terrains, why bother????

 

Its my goal to now build a hellova truck and run millitary tires on it and then destroy dan just to **** him off that is all :doublefistedflipoff:

 

I love the hell outta my shell.ive had one on my last couple rigs, makes it nice when wheelin in the woods. Place to keep your gear safe without falling out and a place to sleep. I went with military tires cause my tsl's idnt like it when I hauled 12k behin me. Hell, the truck is so heavy t didn't like the truck empty weight either. It's too long for rocks so what's wrong with a mud terrain tire? Does just as good as the "mud grappler" and "tsl" tires I had.

 

oh, and the wheels are temps until I finish some other stuff. Then the stazworks wheels are on order. These were just too cheap to pass up
