Where does everyone go 'wheeling at?

Lets make a big list of where the best off roading places in AZ are. Just write down the place and the best directions you have.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-Sep-02 AT 08:38 PM (EST)]Butcher Jones, up by saguaro lake.

Also, my uncle lives up in Overgaurd and we usually do some up there too, but didn't get to this year due to the fire.

1) Crazy Horse hill on 99th ave and Jomax it is a fun place and I was really impressed when my truck all stock climbed the hill The hill is rated a 5 for difficulty

2) Raw Deal on Table Mesa Rd off of I-17 north or PHX
body Damage is likely if you don't plan your trail very well there are numours other trails out there with all different types of difficulty it is a fun place

3) Canyon lake has some pretty nice trails relatively easy driving but some hills

4) Sagauro Lake there are some pretty nice trails out there and different kinds of difficulty

5) a little fart around spot is on glendale Ave and out near Dysart I take trucks there to test the 4x4 out after I work on them and go there to check articulation out

6) lake pleasant there are a couple of trails and it is pretty fun I take my boat out there and dock it on the shore and go out trail riding in my truck and come back and go fishing and camping all in the same weekend all at one spot which is nice

There is a book out that has all kinds of off-road trails mapped out and rated for difficulty it is a good book but I keep loseing mine all the time

Near lake pleasent is a trail called castle hot springs. If you start out from lake pleasent it will take you to wickenburg. About 5 miles down the trail there is a fork in the road. You can go left or right. right takes you to wickenburg left is the hard- core stuff. First i's deep sand. then you enter all mountains. It's very rough. tight spaces and huge boulders. i ended up breaking the rear axle in my bronco. the carrier bearings broke. I reccomend you go with a group since you can very easily become lost or stuck. it was tons of fun though!!
