My computer has been acting screwy lately. If I do a search on yahoo, google, ect. It comes up with a website other than the one I clicked on. Does this sound like a virus? McAfee says i'm OK.
What browser are you using? I would recommend Mozilla firefox. Sounds like the browser is corrupted to me. I would try another browser. If you don't have it you can download it here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html
What exactely is a browser? I downloaded superantispyware and it seems to be fixed.
LOL, ROFL. LMAO etc. Sorry, couldn't help it. A browser is the program you use to surf the internet. Explorer is the most explored or probably a better term is exploited by everyone.
Internet explorer is a browser. If you try mozilla firefox I doubt you will go back. It should transfer all the favorites and you can still use either browser.
Well, I will offer something that may be of use at the expense of angering the FTE Gods. I have found it is better to just Google what I am looking for rather than a search here on the forum. Most times I end up with a link right here while in the forum I get a ton of unrelated threads to sort through. It has gotten better but those are my thoughts.
Not that new, been using it for years. It is very reliable and safe from attacks. They also update it quite regularly and you receive a message to that effect.
