Shell Rotella Synthetic ??? Anybody using ?

I have a 2002 f350 dually with195000 miles on the clock. I had always ran rotella 15w40 since it was new, at 190000 miles i switched to rotella 5w40 synthetic, 300 highway miles later it was pouring out of my rear main seal, and the icp sensor went south also. pretty expensive oil change for me. maybe it was just bad luck, but i will never use synthetic oil in my truck again.
These 7.3 engines rarely have REAR MAIN SEAL leaks, the oil leaks probably are coming through the valley and drain off the back of the engine(International designed the T444E that way).
try cleaning the valley and look for new oil leaks like the others have mentioned.

Synthetic oil will not just make a leak start, the seals that allow it to pass may just be old.
