Newb needs help!
Hello all, I have a 97 expedition with 150000 miles that is stuck in 4wd and I am convinced it is the transfer case motor. Well I purchased it, truck is up in the air and heres my problem... when i unplug he harness to the old motor their are still about 6 or so wires attached to the other end ( the end that goes back to the transfer case motor itself. These wires lead to different places on the transfer case . When I look at the new motor harness there are 7 "holes" with a blue inner piece with holes that look as if you would punch the wires through into it. I cant understand a design like this though and I dont want to start cutting wires off the old harness to punch them into the new. I dont think I have the wrong part but now I dont know. Motor itself looks identical to old one.
